ÂDunno Y.. Na Jaane Kyun cast honoured

At a recent award function, Kapil Sharma and Yuvraaj Parashar were awarded by Deputy Chief Minister Chagan Bhujbal for their sensitive and daring portrayal of gay men in ÂDunno Y.. Na Jaane KyunÂ.
Directed by Sanjay Sharma and produced by Rajkumari Satyaprakash, ÂDunno Y.. stars Zeenat Aman, Aryan Vaid, Maradona Rebello, Hazel, Rituparna Sengupta, Asha Sachdev, besides Kapil, Yuvraaj and Helen.
On the occasion Yuvraaj said, ÂWhen it rains it pours, here we getting award and at London the film received lots of claps and whistles. According to festival authorities the attendance and response was very good.
Kapil stated excitedly, ÂAll of a sudden I am getting lots of mails from Firangs. Can you believe it a German gentleman who organises a big Queer film festival in six cities of Germany was so keen to see the film that he flew all the way to London just to watch it. He loved films typical Indian melodramatic emotions and HelenÂs dance. In fact after watching the film he has invited the film for his festival. It will be India's First film which will feature in festivals of six cities of same country.Â
While Yuvraaj adds, ÂAn Australian lady who saw the film loved Lata MangeshkarÂs title track so much that she wanted to know from which site she can download the song. Now we just keeping our fingers crossed for its release in India on 15th October 2010.Â
